When faced with cancer, those affected often experience isolation, physical changes, and a loss of self-confidence. Elles Dansent Paris NewDance, founded by Aude Michon, discovered the profound power of adapted dance to transcend these challenges, fostering well-being, social connection, and renewed confidence. Their mission is to turn movement into a path of healing, sharing, and self-reclamation.
CBA embraced this vital cause as part of its 2025 pro bono program, seeing a unique opportunity to amplify the impact of Elles Dansent. The challenge was to give a powerful visual voice to an organization that quite literally moves boundaries, transforming dance into a strong symbol of resilience and unity.
Our goal was to bring motion, visibility, and light back to a cause filled with human vibrancy, by creating an identity that reflects its generous, joyful, and inclusive troupe spirit, while strengthening its presence among patrons, sponsors, hospitals, and beneficiaries.
This project deeply resonated with CBA’s CSR values, particularly its commitment to human solidarity and the transformative power of physical activity.

Our strategic analysis revealed that Elles Dansent is not just about dance; it is an active and collective journey of transformation. It is about regaining control, finding joy in the face of adversity, and building unbreakable bonds through shared movement. This led us to our Unordinary Idea: choreographing collective resilience, one joyful step at a time.
This idea captures the essence of the organization, using the structured and expressive nature of dance (choreographing) to build inner strength and adaptability (resilience), emphasizing the shared experience (collective), and highlighting positive, incremental progress (one joyful step at a time). It is a call to action, a promise of transformation, and a celebration of the human spirit.

To bring this Unordinary Idea to life, we designed a complete and coherent visual universe that embodies kindness, dignity, joy, and inclusion. Our creative solution modernized the identity of Elles Dansent without betraying its core values, creating a harmonious link between tradition, digital presence, and deep humanity.
- Logo and typographic choreography: The central element of the new identity is a logo that subtly evokes movement without explicitly depicting a dancer. Through the deconstruction and rhythmic balance of its letters, the typography itself becomes a choreography, symbolizing the fluidity of dance and the solidarity among the women of the association. Each letter takes part in a shared dance, reflecting both collective spirit and individual journeys.
- Vibrant color palette: A carefully curated palette of violet, turquoise, and orange infuses the brand with energy, diversity, and joy. These vibrant tones represent the richness of individual experiences and the collective strength found within the Elles Dansent community, creating a visually emotional and memorable language.
- Modern and accessible typography: Complementing the dynamic logo, a contemporary, clean, and readable typeface anchors the identity in modernity. This choice ensures elegance, warmth, and broad accessibility, making the brand welcoming and understandable to all stakeholders.
- Holistic visual language: Beyond the core elements, we developed a complete visual language and graphic charter to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. This ecosystem celebrates movement, unity, and vitality, turning every interaction with the brand into a message of hope.
- Digital and community engagement: Recognizing the importance of a strong digital footprint, CBA advised Elles Dansent on its social media strategy, bridging its visual identity with its on-the-ground impact. Initiatives such as organizing a dance evening further encouraged connection and exchange between CBA collaborators and beneficiaries, embodying the inclusive spirit of the brand.
