In particular, which kind of data could be useful for SMEs? Do the same “rules of play” of the big energisers are worth for them? How could they exploit the information power of smart energy platforms?
Thanks to ethnographic research conducted towards several SMEs players we identified their main customer needs as time and complexity savings rather than just economic savings. It’s not 50€ on annual savings that make the difference for them. It’s reducing time and complexity expenditure on energy management that could change the game for the companies who do not have a dedicated energy manager due to their company size.
That’s why we defined the optimal positioning of the new product as the digital energy manager for SMEs who do not have one. For the facility manager of SMEs, that want to streamline the business and reduce costs, Sensee is an easy to use digital service that provides actionable insights based on energy consumption in order to help them to reduce the time it takes to manage energy and discover new ways to save money and take care for the environment.
On the technology platform developed by the client, we shaped the service strategy and the new User Experience giving the user the chance not only to control the energy consumption but – much more desirable for them – creating automatic actions that create an immediate impact on company organization.
Which name could embody at best the value proposition of the new product of making simple and effortless the energy management, exploiting the power of data? Sensee is the union of sense and see: the capability of making sense of huge data, envisioning the solution with intelligence and simplicity.
Starting from the new name, we wanted to communicate vision and simplicity. The Sensee logo and its visual identity emerge concretely from the sea of data and information, taking shape within a numerical matrix from which the letters of the logo arise. The tone of the voice is simple and friendly, related to our objective of communicating a simple and straightforward process.
