CBA partnered up with Kido, a flavored milk brand to update their packaging design.
/ Background

 

 

Established in 1973, Pınar has been providing consumers with high quality dairy products. Focusing on health and healthy dairy has been their first priority since early days.

 

Pınar, is a regional giant and a market leader in Turkey.

 

Kido is a brand who communicates with kids aged between 6 to 12. Kido focuses on kids enjoying their milk with fun while the parents know that the product can answer some of the nutritional needs of the kids. Creating a world of creativity, fun and education, Kido makes drinking milk an easier and more fun experience for the kids. The product has 3 flavours and 1 lactose free variant.

/ CHALLENGE

CBA focused on rejuvenating and refreshing the packaging design for Kido.

The brand wanted to focus on Kido and make Kido more relevant with the new generation and their daily behaviors.

Producing healthy products is a key point for the product. Focusing on the healthy fruit flavors was a key point.

In line with the brand identity and brand strategy, CBA worked on a new design for the flavored milk packages.

/ SOLUTION

CBA focused on rejuvenating and refreshing the packaging design for Kido. The brand’s popular character Kido is known for being a fun, brave, adventure-loving hero with super powers.

Focusing on Kido’s personality, CBA equipped him with another super power; using social media emoji language to engage with his young fans. Emoji language movements were added on to the packaging.

CBA used bright and vibrant colors to extenuate the fun aspect of a healthy snack. The imagery of the flavors were chosen to feel more appealing and more healthy.

CBA’s new design aims to highlight Kido as a healthy snack that brings fun to milk through use of vibrant colors and contemporary Kido gestures.
