The name \u201cVersuni\u201d was developed by CBA’s naming associate, River + Wolf<\/strong>, for their client Philips and provided the strategic foundation for the new brand identity created by CBA. Inspired by the positioning\u00a0\u201cyour home is a world<\/strong>,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0the name reflects boundless possibility and purpose, spanning both the vastness of the universe and the personal universe within our homes.<\/span><\/p>

Working as River + Wolf’s design partner on the project, CBA developed the visual identity for Versuni, supporting the company\u2019s transition from a Philips business unit into a distinct, independent brand.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We fostered the co-creation of creative territories and presented diverse interpretations of our positioning for Versuni. Through a co-creation workshop involving participants spanning multiple locations in the Netherlands and the US, we expedited decision-making compared to traditional analogue workshops. Ultimately, the “Opening a world of potential<\/strong>” territory was selected for pursuit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

CBA crafted an identity centered around a “V” opening into the universe<\/strong>. The Vertex serves as the inception point, extending through the strokes of the “V” to create a canvas for visuals that reinforce our brand narrative. Our identities are channel-agnostic, designed to excel across all media. The ultimate output was a comprehensive brand book, defining and templating all assets. Rules were established to simplify application, ensuring seamless adoption by everyone associated with the Versuni brand. Each brand poses a unique challenge; in this case, we harmonized gradients to ensure they work seamlessly across all proportions and formats.<\/p>\n

The brand has been successfully launched, showcasing the full spectrum of former Royal Philips household goods.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
