Werfen, a global leader in in vitro diagnostics, entrusted us with creating from zero the brand for a groundbreaking quality control technology based on Bayesian methodology: a system that learns, predicts, and adapts. The challenge was not to explain the algorithm, but to transform one of the most complex innovations in diagnostics into something a technician could understand, trust, and, above all, perceive instantly.

The strategy: to stop explaining and start transforming. We evolved the narrative, moving from a communication grounded in technical expertise to a brand that doesn’t explain how it works, but shows what it makes possible. The name Astelia, derived from the Greek aster (star), evokes humanity’s oldest navigation system: stars and constellations. The tagline, “Predict the Unseen”, distils the promise into three words: foresight, confidence and control.

The visual identity translates this celestial narrative into a system that is both scientific and poetic: a refined aesthetic, a palette that balances precision and warmth, and a symbol inspired by orbital movement. Each element conveys the same idea: behind complexity, there is clarity. The result is a brand that does what the best technology should do: let you breathe. Astelia doesn’t ask lab technicians to learn a new language. It speaks theirs: more calmly, more clearly and with the confidence of someone who already knows what comes next.
