Unilever and CBA Design have partnered again to develop a new naturals range for Sedal.
We were challenged to combine Sedal’s mass recognition with the product authority of BioExpert to create an innovative co-creation shampoo and conditioner range. The proposition merges broad accessibility with high-quality effectiveness, promising a groundbreaking hair care solution for the Mexican market.
Our vision for the packaging was to seamlessly blend the natural potency and vitality of nature with Sedal’s joyful and approachable brand personality.
We developed a layered design system in which abstract elemental expressions of nature, reminiscent of intricate macro patterns found in ecosystems, provide a foundation for top-down shots of natural ingredients inspired by the sophisticated aesthetic of editorial food photography.
These organic textures and ingredients frame the clean, graphic brand elements, serving as a robust anchor to the overall design composition.

Originally designed for the Mexican market, the Sedal x BioExpert design system has been adopted in several other markets, embracing new product formats and ingredient formulas.
