Universal icon, visionary and revolutionary artist, Charlie Chaplin is a figure deeply entrenched in the cultural heritage of the 20th century. So when Grévin sought to open Chaplin’s World – a Museum in the artist’s former home in Switzerland – the creation of a supporting graphic language was no small task.
To help the Museum honor both the individual and the icon, CBA Paris created a graphic identity and visual language that speaks to the dualism of the artist’s private and public life. The result is delightfully iconographic system that honors Chaplin’s personality, legacy and cultural impact.
