In December of 2016, the Grand Musée du Parfum opened its doors within a French-style mansion, offering window shoppers along the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré a truly unique experience. The multi-sensory museum takes visitors through the history and science of perfume making in a modern way, using graphic, video and sound installations to bring the experience to life.
As part of the grand opening, CBA Paris designed the retail space and architectural identity of the Grand Musée du Parfum’s concept store. Mixing classicism and innovation, discovery and immersion, history and emotion, CBA developed an original and creative space. French inspired fresco and moulding overlap with technology and modern art to blend the old and the new, providing visitors a premium and unexpected experience – a genuine extension of the museum itself.
